I believe that language should not be an obstacle, but a bridge connecting people. That’s why my goal is not just to translate words but to remove language barriers, creating a space for security, comfort, and mutual understanding. With Oikumena, you do not just get a translation but confidence in communication.

Twenty years of experience as an interpreter in Zagreb, Moscow, Stockholm, Budapest, and Ljubljana — and that’s just the beginning of my geography! I work in negotiations, conferences, official meetings, and other important events, ensuring all parties speak the same language and understand each other without unnecessary pauses.
Russian, Croatian, English — any combination, any level of complexity. Language should not be a barrier when it is important to hear and be heard!
Russian language attracts different students — some learn it out of curiosity, others for work, and some simply want to better understand another country’s culture. What they all have in common is an interest in Russia.
Among my students are people from different countries and a wide range of professions: professors of Russian language, postgraduate students of international relations, IT specialists, and historians. I teach students from Korea, Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, the United States, and Norway.

Croatian language lessons for foreigners who want to adapt to life in Croatia, conduct business, or simply communicate comfortably in everyday situations. I teach Croatian in a way that makes it feel like more than just a collection of difficult sounds — it becomes your new tool for communication. I have my own method for those already familiar with Slavic languages and for those hearing for the first time that ‘ljubav’ is not a spell but means ‘love’.
Among my students are Ukrainians, Russians, Belgians, French, and Italians — all those who want to speak Croatian with confidence and without stress.
I have been working in translation and interpretation for almost three decades, ensuring high-quality language services for individuals and businesses.
Learn MoreFrom birth and marriage certificates to complex legal contracts, financial reports, business correspondence, technical manuals, and scientific articles — every translation is done with accuracy and meets official standards.
Learn MoreBusiness negotiations, conferences, and official meetings — we provide smooth communication in all situations. I have participated as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter at conferences and negotiations at the highest level both in Croatia and in other countries.
Learn MoreMy clients note the high level of engagement and knowledge of the material in their subject matter when translating. Before each order, I study the topic and type in the necessary professional terms and expressions.
Learn MoreI successfully teach Croatian to both native Slavic speakers and those who are not familiar with Slavic languages. I have developed materials for individual learning, depending on age, preferences and native language.
Learn MoreOne of the most significant moments of my career was participating in the organisation of the Hermitage exhibition ‘Catherine the Great — Empress of Russia’ at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery. In April 2018, more than 1,000 unique exhibits from the Hermitage collection arrived for this extraordinary exhibition, and I was incredibly fortunate to be a part of it.
In 2017, I was invited to be a Russian language consultant for a new BBC series they were filming in Croatia. It was an exciting and unique experience. My role was to ensure that the actors delivered authentic and accurate Russian dialogue, preserving the linguistic and cultural nuances of the language.
There is no need to search too much! Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about how we work.
The speed of translation depends not only on the volume. If it is a standard document, such as a birth certificate or a police clearance certificate, the translation can be ready on the same day. If it is a document with specialised terminology or a large volume, it may take two to three days.
If I worked on the translation, I make small changes immediately and completely free of charge. If the translation was done elsewhere, I first need to check its accuracy. This usually takes one day, and the cost is lower than a full translation.
Yes. In Croatia, there is the concept of a sworn or court translator. This means that with my stamp, you do not need additional notarisation — the translation is already an official document and can be presented in court, at the police, and in any other government institution.
In all agencies, certified translations cost more. The translation must be formatted according to specific rules, bound to the original, and sealed with the official stamp of the sworn translator. I usually only charge for the time spent on the translation, so the price difference is minimal.
Of course. If the organisation that requires the translation accepts a scanned document, I can send it by email.
